Someone told Him, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.”
Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him.
Then His mother and His brothers came to Him, but could not reach Him, because of the crowd.
But He said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife as do other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
