Give to everyone who asks of you. And of him who takes away your goods, do not ask for them back.

He has given freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor.

Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the day of trouble.

He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay what he has given.

He covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and does not spare.

He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor.

Give a portion to seven, or even eight, investments, for you do not know what calamity might occur on earth.

When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to observe the business that is done on earth, while day and night there is no sleep for one’s eyes,

“So also My heavenly Father will do to each of you, if from your heart you do not forgive your brother for his trespasses.”

But I say to you, do not resist an evil person. But whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other as well.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

But give alms from what is within, and behold, all things are clean to you.

Sell your possessions and give alms. Provide yourselves bags that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “Yet you lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me.”

To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer also the other. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic as well.

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

Give, and it will be given to you: Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will men give unto you. For with the measure you use, it will be measured unto you.”

In all things I have shown you how, working like this, you must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’  ”

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that through His poverty you might be rich.

Let him who steals steal no more. Instead, let him labor, working with his hands things which are good, that he may have something to share with him who is in need.
