While they communed and reasoned together, Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

For where two or three are assembled in My name, there I am in their midst.”

As they were saying this, Jesus Himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be unto you.”

They reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”

They were talking with each other about all these things that had happened.

But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.
