saying, “Where is He who was born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “You have said so.”

They put His accusation over His head, which read: this is jesus the king of the jews.

and began to salute Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

The inscription of His accusation was written above: the king of the jews.

Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those who were crucified with Him also reviled Him.

So Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered, “You truly say so.”

They said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they hit Him with their hands.
