No one shall be weary or stumble among them; no one shall slumber or sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the strap of their shoes be broken;
and you be like men waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that they may open the door immediately for him when he comes and knocks.
that you may be blameless and harmless, sons of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be sober, and set your hope fully upon the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
