If you then cannot do what is least, why are you anxious about the other things?
Surely every man walks around like a shadow; surely they make an uproar in vain; he heaps up riches, and does not know who will gather them.
Consider the work of God: Who can make straight what He made crooked?
“Therefore, I say to you, take no thought about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body than clothing?
Who of you by worrying can add one cubit to his height?
“Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither spin nor weave. Yet I say to you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
And do not seek what you will eat or what you will drink, nor be of an anxious mind.
Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.
