You shall take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it as a wave offering before the Lord, and it shall be your portion.

The priest shall burn it on the altar as a food offering made by fire for the Lord.

The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. In a holy place it shall be eaten in the court of the tent of meeting.

For the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed I have taken from the Israelites, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as a perpetual portion from the Israelites.

Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the Lord. This part of the ram of consecration was for Moses, as the Lord commanded Moses.

This is yours: the offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the Israelites. I have given them to you and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as an eternal statute. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it.

Their flesh will be yours, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are yours.

Do you not know that those who minister unto holy things live from the things of the temple? And do you not know that those who wait at the altar partake of the altar?

This shall be the priest’s due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or sheep: they shall give to the priest the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the stomach.
