If a man steals an ox or a sheep and kills it or sells it, then he shall repay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

If a man gives his neighbor money or items to be kept for him, and it is stolen from the man’s house, if the thief is caught, he must repay double.

He shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting, a ram for a guilt offering.

It is a guilt offering: He has indeed incurred guilt before the Lord.

If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbor concerning something left in storage or entrusted to him, or about a theft, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,

The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right thigh for his portion.

But Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, I give half of my possessions to the poor. And if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I will repay him four times as much.”
