Whenever a leader sins, and he does unintentionally any one of the things that by the commandments of the Lord his God should not be done and is found guilty,

If a person sins unintentionally and does any one of the things that by commandments of the Lord should not be done and he is found guilty, he shall bear his iniquity.

If you have erred and not observed all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses,

then it will be, if it is committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the assembly, that all the assembly will offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma to the Lord, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and one kid of the goats as a sin offering.

and they rose up before Moses and men of the Israelites, two hundred and fifty chiefs of the assembly, famous in the assembly, well-known men.

Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the assembly went to meet them outside the camp.
