Leviticus 3:2

He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the door of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the sides of the altar.

Then you shall bring a bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull.

He shall offer from the peace sacrifice, as a food offering made by fire to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,

He shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering and slaughter it before the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood on the sides of the altar.

Next he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

And I will pour out on the house of David and over those dwelling in Jerusalem a spirit of favor and supplication so that they look to Me, whom they have pierced through. And they will mourn over him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly over him as a firstborn.

But the firstborn of a herd animal, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you will not redeem. They are holy. You will splash their blood on the altar and will burn their fat as a fire offering, as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

and you killed the Creator of Life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to you first, to bless you in turning every one of you from your iniquities.”

God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
