Anything that a man shall devote to the Lord from all that he has, whether human, animal, or land, shall not be sold or redeemed. Every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord.

And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite was gatekeeper for the East Gate and over the voluntary offerings to God, to designate the contributions of the Lord and most holy offerings.

He who sacrifices to any god other than the Lord alone shall be utterly destroyed.

They shall eat the grain offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering. And every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.

They shall not sell of it or exchange or alienate this choice portion of the land, for it is holy to the Lord.

But when the field is released in the Jubilee, it shall be holy to the Lord as a devoted field; it shall become the possession of the priest.

If it is among the unclean animals, then he shall ransom it at the equivalent value and shall add one-fifth to it, but if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold at the equivalent value.

No one devoted of men, who shall be doomed to death, shall be redeemed; he shall surely be put to death.

Everything devoted in Israel will be yours.

“Then He will say to those at the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen by race,

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Come, O Lord!

For all who rely on the works of the law are under the curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the Book of the Law, to do them.”

Then Joshua said, “Why have you brought trouble on us? The Lord will trouble you today!” So all Israel stoned him. They burned them with fire and stoned them with stones.

This is what you will do: You will kill every man and every woman who has slept with a man.”

Yet we cannot give them our daughters for wives, for the Israelites swore, ‘Cursed be anyone who gives a wife to Benjamin.’ ”

The Israelites said, “Who from all the tribes of Israel did not go up with the assembly to the Lord?” For they vowed a solemn oath regarding whoever did not go up to the Lord at Mizpah stating, “He must be killed.”

And the Lord sent you on a journey, and said, ‘Go and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are destroyed.’

Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not have compassion on them but put to death both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ”
