And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Jacob vowed a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will protect me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,
These are the statutes and judgments and laws that the Lord made between Himself and the Israelites on Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
Speak to the Israelites, and say to them: When a man makes a special vow to the Lord based on the equivalent value of persons,
Everything devoted in Israel will be yours.
