No grain offering that you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall not burn leaven, nor any honey as a food offering by fire to the Lord.

You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread, nor shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until the morning.

Then you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar for a burnt offering, for a soothing aroma before the Lord. It is an offering made by fire to the Lord.

You must not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven, nor is the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover to be left until the following morning.

My son, eat honey, for it is good, and the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste.

“Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts become burdened by excessiveness and drunkenness and anxieties of life, and that Day comes on you unexpectedly.

strengthening the minds of the disciples and exhorting them to continue in the faith, to go through many afflictions and thus enter the kingdom of God.

A little yeast leavens the whole batch.

so that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh serving human desires, but the will of God.
