Even the officials over the priests and the people increased in their unfaithfulness in all the detestable practices of the nations, and they defiled the house of the Lord which He had consecrated in Jerusalem.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around Him.

Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you will keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the Lord.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it ‘a den of thieves.’ ”

What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live in them and walk in them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins first with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
