Leviticus 19:14

You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

Joseph said to them the third day, “Do this and live, for I fear God.

The former governors preceding me had extracted a heavy burden on the people, because they took from them food and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Moreover, even their servants domineered over the people. But I myself never did so, because of the fear of God.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commands. His praise endures forever!

You shall do no unrighteousness in a court. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person who is great, but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

You shall rise up before a gray head, and honor the face of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord.

You shall not therefore oppress one another, but you shall fear your God, for I am the Lord your God.

Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.

Therefore let us no longer pass judgment on one another, but rather determine not to put a stumbling block or an obstacle in a brother’s way.

Give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God,

“Cursed is he who misleads the blind man on the road.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”

And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your sojourning.

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

“But I have a few things against you: You have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the Israelites, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
