Thus you shall separate the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness by defiling My tabernacle that is among them.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me;

Moreover they have done this to Me: They have defiled My sanctuary in the same day and have profaned My Sabbaths.

Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their way was before Me as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

They shall teach My people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you, and My eye shall have no pity, nor will I spare.

This is the law of the leprous disease in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or woof, or anything of leather to determine if it is clean or unclean.

This is the law for him who has a discharge and for him who has a seminal emission and thus becomes unclean,

You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary: I am the Lord.

I will set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech to defile My sanctuary and to defile My holy name.

Only he shall not go in through the veil or come to the altar, because he has a blemish, so that he does not defile My sanctuaries, for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Whoever touches the body of any man who is dead and does not purify himself defiles the tabernacle of the Lord, and that person will be cut off from Israel. Because the water of purification was not sprinkled on him, he will be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person will be cut off from among the assembly because he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The water of purification has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.

Both male and female you will put out. You will put them outside the camp, so they do not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.

If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy. And you are His temple.

Be careful with an outbreak of leprosy, that you diligently observe and do according to all that the Levitical priests instruct you. As I have commanded them, so you must carefully do.

How much more severe a punishment do you suppose he deserves, who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded the blood of the covenant that sanctified him to be a common thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

For there are some men who secretly crept in, who were marked long ago for this condemnation. They are ungodly men, who pervert the grace of our God into immorality and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for with sacrifice or offering forever.”
