Leviticus 15:13

When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his issue, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water, and shall be clean.

Thus shall you do to Aaron and his sons according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them for seven days.

For seven days you must make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches the altar will be holy.

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity whereby they have sinned against Me. And I will pardon all their iniquities whereby they have sinned and whereby they have transgressed against Me.

On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb one year old without blemish, and three-tenths of an ephah of wheat flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil.

He that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, so that he may be clean. After that he shall come into the camp and shall stay outside of his tent seven days.

But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

Whoever touches the bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

You shall not go out of the door of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are at an end, for your consecration will take seven days.

On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.

But the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
