Even of these you may eat: the locust of any kind, the bald locust of any kind, the cricket of any kind, and the grasshopper of any kind.

Strengthen the weak hands, and support the feeble knees.

Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those that have jointed legs above their feet with which to hop on the ground.

But all other flying insects that have four feet shall be detestable to you.

This same John had clothing made of camel’s hair, a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.

John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist. And he ate locusts and wild honey.

Welcome him who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of arguing over opinions.

We who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak and not please ourselves.

Concerning this we have much to say that is hard to explain, since you have become hard of hearing.
