Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying: ‘I will be sanctified by those who come near Me; and before all the people I will be glorified.’ ” And Aaron held his peace.

Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be treated like the wicked; far be it from You. Should not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

He said to her, “You talk like one of the foolish women talks. Will we indeed accept the good from God but not accept the adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break through against them.”

Then the Lord said to him, “Go, get down, and come up, you and Aaron with you, but do not let the priests and the people force their way through to come up to the Lord, lest He break through against them.”

You must anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them, so that they may minister as priests to Me.

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good.” For he said, “For there shall be peace and truth in my days.”

He said to me, “You are My servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be clean, you who bear the vessels of the Lord.

so that he does not defile his offspring among his people, for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.

Speak to Aaron, saying: None of your offspring in their generations who has any blemish may approach to offer the food of his God.

No man who has a blemish from the offspring of Aaron the priest shall come near to offer the food offerings of the Lord made by fire. He has a blemish; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the food of their God. Therefore they shall be holy.

You shall sanctify him, for he offers the food of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the Lord, who sanctifies you, am holy.

They shall therefore keep My ordinance, lest they bear sin from it and therefore die if they defile it: I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Therefore you shall abide at the entrance of the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the Lord that you do not die, for so I have been commanded.”

and he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, “In the morning the Lord will show who is His and who is holy, and He will bring him to come near to Him. Whom He has chosen He will bring near to Him.

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe in Me, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the Israelites, therefore you will not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

I will do whatever you ask in My name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

because you trespassed against Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the Israelites.

when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at by all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins first with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

“Therefore the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I surely said that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me forever,’ but now the Lord says, ‘Far be it from Me to do so, for those who honor Me, I will honor, and those that despise Me will be humbled.

Samuel told him everything, and did not hide from him a thing. And he said, “It is the Lord; let Him do what is good in His eyes.”

The men of Beth-shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before the Lord, this holy God? And to whom will He go up from us?”
