If his offering is a burnt sacrifice, and it is from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. At the door of the tent of meeting, he shall offer it of his own free will before the Lord.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. So Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up as a burnt offering in the place of his son.

Then He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

The number of the burnt offerings that the assembly brought was seventy bulls, a hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.

And they set aside the burnt offering to distribute according to each house of the fathers for the people to bring near to the Lord, as written in the Book of Moses. And they did the same with the bulls.

Your people will follow you in the day of your battle; on the holy mountains, at the dawn of the morning, the dew of your youth belongs to you.

I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart.”

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats.

He sent young men of Israel who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of young bulls to the Lord.

You shall burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord. It is a soothing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

This will be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet you, to speak to you.

So they rose up early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit was willing came and brought the Lord’s offering for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.

The Israelites brought a willing offering to the Lord, every man and woman whose heart was willing to bring material for all the work which the Lord had commanded through Moses to be made.

Take from among you an offering to the Lord. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze,

They received from Moses all the offerings which the Israelites had brought to do the work of the service of the sanctuary, and they continued to bring to him freewill offerings every morning.

He made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood. It was five cubits long and five cubits wide. It was square, and it was three cubits high.

For what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? says the Lord. I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed animals. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.

For on My holy mountain, on the mountain of the height of Israel, says the Lord God, there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve Me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will seek your offerings and the firstfruits of your gifts with all your holy things.

In the vestibule of the gate were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, to slay on it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flocks, whether from the sheep or from the goats, he shall bring a male without blemish.

and does not bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting to offer it as a gift to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord, then blood guilt shall be accounted to that man. He has shed blood, and that man shall be cut off from among his people.

You shall say to them: Any man from the house of Israel, or from the foreigners who sojourn among you, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

and does not bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting to offer it to the Lord, even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

You shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf a year-old male lamb without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord.

You shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, one bull, and two rams. They shall be for a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, that is, a food offering made by fire, of a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

If his offering is a peace sacrifice, and if he is offering from the herd, whether male or female, then he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull will be slaughtered before the Lord.

or his sin that he committed was made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a male goat without blemish,

if the anointed priest sins, so as to bring guilt on the people, he shall bring for his sin that he has committed a bull without blemish to the Lord for a sin offering.

And if he brings a sheep for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish,

When a person acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally in regard to the holy things of the Lord, then for his restitution offering to the Lord he shall bring a ram without blemish from the flock—or its equivalent, in your estimation, in shekels of silver (using the sanctuary shekel) —for a guilt offering.

He shall bring to the priest a ram without blemish from the flock—or its equivalent value —for a guilt offering. The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his error that he made unintentionally, and he shall be forgiven.

If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbor concerning something left in storage or entrusted to him, or about a theft, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day also the remainder of it can be eaten.

Then he brought the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

He washed the entrails and the legs in water, and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, and a food offering made by fire to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

He said to Aaron, “Take a young calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

“Awake, O sword, against My shepherd and the man of My association,” says the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter. I will turn My hand against the small ones.

But cursed be the deceiver who has in his flock a male, and vows, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished, for I am a great king, says the Lord of Hosts, and My name is to be feared among the nations.

when you make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing aroma to the Lord, of the herd or of the flock,

When you prepare a bull as a burnt offering, or as a sacrifice in performing a vow, or as a peace offering to the Lord,

This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying: Tell the Israelites that they will bring you a healthy red heifer, which has no blemish, and on which a yoke has never gone,

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He spoken, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

And Balak said to Balaam, “Please come. I will bring you to another place. Perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

Balaam said to Balak, “Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps the Lord will come to meet me, and whatever He shows me I will tell you.” And he went to a high place.

Balak did as Balaam said and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

At the beginnings of your months you will offer a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, seven lambs in their first year, without blemish;

but you will offer a sacrifice made by fire as a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, and one ram, and seven lambs in their first year. Be sure they are without blemish.

And you will offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to the Lord: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year, without blemish.

The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you. Therefore the Holy One who will be born will be called the Son of God.

For if there is a willing mind first, the gift is accepted according to what a man possesses and not according to what he does not possess.

Let every man give according to the purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

and that He might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

You must offer your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the altar of the Lord your God, and the blood of your sacrifices will be poured out on the altar of the Lord your God, and you shall eat the meat.

If there is any defect in it, if it is lame or blind or has a serious defect, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.

You must not sacrifice to the Lord your God any bull or sheep that has a blemish or any defect, for that is detestable to the Lord your God.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, for He is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and is higher than the heavens.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
