Then you shall rise up for the ambush and take possession of the city. The Lord your God will give it into your hands.

Then Deborah said to Barak, “Get up, for this is the day that the Lord has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the Lord gone out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men behind him.

Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go, but if you will not go with me, then I will not go.”

The torrent of Kishon swept them away, that ancient torrent, the torrent of Kishon. My soul, march on in strength!

Behold, this day you have seen with your own eyes that the Lord delivered you today into my hand in the cave. So that some said to kill you, but my eye had compassion on you. And I said, ‘I will not put forth my hand against my lord, for he is anointed of the Lord.’

And you have shown today that you have dealt well with me, when the Lord delivered me into your hand and you did not kill me.
