Then Judah went up, and the Lord gave the Canaanites and Perizzites into their hands. They struck down ten thousand men in Bezek.

So he came to the king. And the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall we wait?” And he answered him, “Go and prosper, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”

Then the men of Judah said to Simeon, their brothers, “Come up with us into our allotted territory. We will wage war against the Canaanites. Likewise we will go with you into your allotted territory.” So Simeon went with them.

They found Adoni-Bezek in Bezek and fought against him. They struck down the Canaanites and Perizzites.

So Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to wage war against them, and the Lord gave them into his hands.

The Israelites lived among the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

When he numbered them in Bezek, the Israelites were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.

But if they say, ‘Come up to us,’ then we will go up, for the Lord has delivered them into our hand, and this will be a sign to us.”

Jonathan said to the young man bearing his armor, “Come, and let us cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. Perhaps the Lord will work for us, for the Lord is not limited to save by many or by few.”
