Likewise, the angels who did not keep to their first domain, but forsook their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.

Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the Day of Judgment than for that town.

then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the Day of Judgment,

raging waves of the sea, which are foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom the gloom of darkness has been kept forever.

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet were. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for one thousand years.
