(Now they had given the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his property.)

of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

They gave them Kiriath-arba (Arba was the father of Anak), which is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, and the grazing lands around it.

To the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron (a refuge city for people who committed manslaughter), Libnah with its pastures,

We raided the south of the Kerethites, the south of Judah, and the south of Caleb. And we burned Ziklag with fire.”
