Joshua 18:1

The whole congregation of the Israelites assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there. The land was subdued before them.

I have not dwelt in a house since the day I brought the Israelites from Egypt until this day. I have been moving about with a tent as My dwelling.

Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please get up and disguise yourself, so that you will not be recognized as the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Behold, there you will find Ahijah the prophet, who told me that I would be king over this people.

Jeroboam’s wife did so and arose and went to Shiloh, to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see, for in his old age he had gone blind.

So Solomon expelled Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, thus fulfilling the word of the Lord that He had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

So the men got up and left. Joshua commanded those who were leaving to survey the land, saying, “Go and walk back and forth throughout the land. Write a description of it, then return to me. Here in Shiloh I will cast lots for you before the Lord.”

These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the family leaders of the Israelite tribes assigned by lot in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting. So they completed dividing the land.

At Shiloh in the land of Canaan they said to them, “Through Moses the Lord commanded that we be given cities to live in, along with grazing lands for our livestock.”

When the Israelites heard this, they assembled the whole congregation of the Israelites at Shiloh to go up against them in war.

If indeed your own land is unclean, then cross over to the land of the Lord where the tabernacle of the Lord stands and take land among us. Yet do not rebel against the Lord or rebel against us by building an altar other than the altar of the Lord our God.

So the Reubenites, Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in the land of Canaan to go to the land of Gilead, the land of their possession, according to the word of the Lord through Moses.

So they displayed Micah’s graven image that he had made, for the whole time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

So among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan.

So they said, “Behold, there is an annual festival of the Lord in Shiloh, which is north of Bethel, east of the main road that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Lebonah.”

When she had weaned him, she took him up with her with three bulls, one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine. And she brought him to the house of the Lord in Shiloh, though the boy was young.

This man went up out of his city annually to worship and to sacrifice to the Lord of Hosts in Shiloh. And there the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were priests to the Lord.
