The families of Kiriath-jearim were the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites went forth.
And they came to the Valley of Eshkol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them, and they brought some of the pomegranates and of the figs.
Then his brothers and all his family came down, carried him, brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the grave of his father Manoah. He had judged Israel for twenty years.
