King Horam of Gezer came up to help Lachish, but Joshua attacked him and his people until he did not have a single survivor left.

They did this, and they brought out those five kings from the cave: the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon.
So King Adoni-Zedek of Jerusalem sent this message to King Hoham of Hebron, King Piram of Jarmuth, King Japhia of Lachish, and King Debir of Eglon:
the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
So David did just as the Lord commanded, and he defeated the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.
From Lachish, Joshua and all of Israel passed to Eglon. They camped against it and waged war against it.
So the descendants went in and possessed the land, and You subdued for them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands—with their kings and the peoples of the land—to do with them as they would.
