Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly I say to you, you seek Me not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

They come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they will not do them. They do the lustful desires in their mouth, and their heart goes after their covetousness.

Therefore they said to Him, “What sign do You show then, that we may see and believe You? What work will You perform?

But I told you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe.

Truly, truly I say to you, whoever believes in Me has eternal life.

Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray Him.

For such people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own appetites, and through smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.

For all seek their own, not the things of Christ Jesus.

Their destination is destruction, their god is their appetite, their glory is in their shame, their minds are set on earthly things.

constant disputes by men of corrupt minds, being destitute of the truth, and supposing that financial gain is godliness. Withdraw yourself from such men.
