Now the servants and officers stood there and warmed themselves, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. Peter also stood with them and warmed himself.

So Judas, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

When they came to land, they saw a charcoal fire there with fish lying on it, and bread.

On being released, they went to their own people and reported what the chief priests and elders had said to them.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
