“Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Jesus cried out, “He who believes in Me believes not only in Me, but in Him who sent Me.

This is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God.

Through Him you believe in God who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

“Now I tell you before it happens, that when it does happen, you may believe that I am He.

Therefore I also, after hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,

“Now My soul is troubled. What shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? Instead, for this reason I came to this hour.

not to let your mind be quickly shaken or be troubled, neither in spirit nor by word, nor by letter coming as though from us, as if the day of Christ is already here.

So on the contrary, you ought to forgive him and comfort him, lest perhaps he might be swallowed up with excessive sorrow.

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

that all men should honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

My sorrow is beyond healing; my heart is faint within me.

They will do these things to you, because they have not known the Father nor Me.

Then I said, “This is my grief; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

Rather, sorrow has filled your heart, because I have told you these things.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
