Then Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us go also, that we may die with Him.”
Simon Peter; Thomas, called Didymus; Nathanael of Cana in Galilee; the sons of Zebedee; and two more of His disciples were together.
Peter said to Him, “Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew, the tax collector; James, the son of Alphaeus; and Lebbaeus, whose name was Thaddaeus;
and Matthew and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot,
Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas; and James the son of Alphaeus; and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
Peter said to Him, “Though I should die with You, yet I will not deny You.” And all the disciples spoke in this manner.
When they had entered, they went up into the upper room, where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going. How can we know the way?”
His disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone You. Are You going there again?”
He said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You to prison and to death.”
And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.”
