Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, as well as the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that is sufficient for us.”
“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”
When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming to Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread that these may eat?”
Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for each of them to receive but a little.”
They said to him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that no prophet arises out of Galilee.”
Examine all things. Firmly hold onto what is good.
