The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
A man has joy in the apt reply of his mouth, and a timely word spoken, how good it is!
Those who live in one city will journey to another, saying, “Let us surely go to seek the Lord of Hosts. I myself am going.”
Looking upon Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
Then Jesus turned, saw them following, and said to them, “What do you seek?” And they said to Him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are You staying?”
The next day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip, and said to him, “Follow Me.”
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to the listeners.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let him who hears say, “Come.” Let him who is thirsty come. Let him who desires take the water of life freely.
