He will never return to his house, and his place will not recognize him anymore.
But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Am I able to bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”
yet he will perish forever like his own excrement; those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’
The eye that saw him will see him no more; nor will his place behold him anymore.
The east wind carries him away, and he departs; it sweeps him out of his place.
Men will clap their hands at him and will hiss him out of his place.
If he is uprooted from his place, then it will deny him, saying, ‘I have not seen you.’
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more.
Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look diligently for his place, he will not be there.
