“For it is written in the Book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation become desolate, and let no one live in it,’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’

that though the wicked spring up like grass and though all the workers of iniquity flourish, they will be destroyed forever:

Let their camp be desolate, and let no one dwell in their tents.

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he may gain much, when God takes away his soul?

“He is swift as the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They do not turn toward the way of the vineyards.

(nor have I allowed my mouth to sin by wishing for a curse on his soul);

For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
