“Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: Far be it from God that He should do wickedness, and from the Almighty that He should commit iniquity.
Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be treated like the wicked; far be it from You. Should not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
Righteous are You, O Lord, that I plead with You. Indeed, let me talk with You about matters of justice. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those happy who deal very treacherously?
The Lord is righteous in her midst; He does no unrighteousness. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail, but the unjust knows no shame.
