Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone, nor let me give flattering titles to man.

“So, your servant thought, ‘May the word of my lord the king provide rest. For like the angel of God, my lord the king discerns good from evil. May the Lord your God be with you.’ ”

In order to change this situation, your servant Joab did this thing, but my lord is wise, as with the wisdom of the angel of God, so as to discern everything happening in the land.”

He will surely rebuke you, if you secretly show partiality.

Will you take His side? Will you plead for God?

I will speak, that I may be refreshed; I will open my lips and answer.

These also are sayings of the wise: It is not good to show partiality in judgment.

He who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor than he who flatters with his tongue.

You shall do no unrighteousness in a court. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person who is great, but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

So I have made you contemptible and base before all the people, because you have not kept My ways, but have shown partiality in the law.

They sent their disciples to Him with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God truthfully, and are swayed by no one. For You do not regard the person of men.

You shall not show partiality in judgment, but you shall hear the small as well as the great. You shall not be afraid in any man’s presence, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring it to me, and I will hear it.”

You must not pervert judgment nor show partiality. You must not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
