Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call upon God?
“I will teach you about the hand of God; what is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
But none says, ‘Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night,
Have they no knowledge, all the workers of iniquity, who eat my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon the Lord?
Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and with the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.
then you shall delight yourself in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your father. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.
yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation.
yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, eventually he falls away.
He told them a parable to illustrate that it is necessary always to pray and not lose heart.
a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave many alms to the people and continually prayed to God.
Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
Pray without ceasing.
