You will make your prayer to Him, and He will hear you, and you will pay your vows.

But Jehoahaz appeased the Lord, and the Lord listened to him. For He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Aram oppressed them.

Then Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my territory, that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that it may not bring me hardship!” So God granted what he asked.

And he prayed to God, and He was moved and responded to his plea and returned him to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

“If you prepare your heart and stretch out your hands toward Him;

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call upon God?

he will pray to God, and He will be favorable unto him, and he will see His face with joy, for He will render unto man His righteousness.

so that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto Him; and He hears the cry of the afflicted.

if you were pure and upright, surely now He would rouse Himself on your behalf, and He would prosper your righteous dwelling.

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.

I will pay my vows to the Lord, now in the presence of all His people.

My vows to You are binding upon me, O God; I will render thank offerings to You;

For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, because He has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill what you have vowed.

Then you shall call, and the Lord shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am. If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

Then you shall call upon Me, and you shall come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord!”

When you make a vow to the Lord your God, you must not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and it would be a sin to you.
