The eye that saw him will see him no more; nor will his place behold him anymore.
The eye of him who sees me will behold me no more; your eyes will be on me, but I will be no more.
He will never return to his house, and his place will not recognize him anymore.
Yet he passed by, and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found.
Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look diligently for his place, he will not be there.
If he is uprooted from his place, then it will deny him, saying, ‘I have not seen you.’
all the while my spirit is in me, and the breath of God is in my nostrils,
yet he will perish forever like his own excrement; those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’
