Therefore, my loins are filled with pain; pangs have taken hold of me as the pangs of a woman who travails. I am so perplexed at the hearing of it; I am so dismayed at the seeing of it.

All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

Then King Belshazzar was greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his nobles were astonished.

I heard, and my body trembled; my lips quivered at the sound; rottenness entered my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will wait quietly for the day when calamity comes on the people invading us.

When they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
