How Sheshak has been captured! And how the praise of the whole earth has been seized! How Babylon has become an astonishment among the nations!

Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord God: Howl, “Woe to the day!”

He cried out mightily with a loud voice, saying: “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling place of demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, and a haunt for every unclean and hateful bird.
