Remember Your congregation, which You have purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of Your inheritance, and this Mount Zion, where You have dwelt.
and forget the Lord your maker who has stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth? And have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor as he makes ready to destroy? Yet where is the fury of the oppressor?
Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, O you destroyers of My inheritance, because you have grown fat as the heifer at the grass, and bellow as bulls,
Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of Hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead their case, that He may give rest to the land, but disquiet to the inhabitants of Babylon.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
