For the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah His pleasant plant. Thus He looked for justice, but behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry!

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and an everlasting King. At His wrath the earth trembles, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.

The nations have heard of your shame, and your cry has filled the land; for the mighty man has stumbled over the mighty, and they both have fallen together.

Behold, he will come up like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan against the rich pastureland; but I will suddenly make him run away from her. And I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like Me? And who will summon Me into court? Who is the shepherd who can stand against Me?

The earth has shaken at the noise of their fall; there is an outcry. Its noise has been heard at the Red Sea.

So the land trembles and sorrows, for the purposes of the Lord will be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

A sound of an outcry comes from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans,

Now the coastlands shall tremble on the day of your fall; indeed, the coastlands that are by the sea shall be troubled at your departure.

The meadowlands shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of its fall when I cast him down to Sheol with those who descend into the pit. And all the well-watered trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, were comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

Indeed, I will make many peoples amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you when I brandish My sword before them. And they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, on the day of your fall.
