The most proud will stumble and fall, and no one will raise him up; and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it will devour everything all around him.

Let the proud be ashamed, for they wronged me with guile; but I will meditate on Your precepts.

So I will send fire against the house of Hazael, and it will devour the fortresses of Ben-hadad.

So I will send fire against the wall of Gaza, and it will devour its fortresses.

So I will send fire against Moab, and it will devour the fortresses of Kerioth; Moab will die in uproar, with a war cry and the alarm of the trumpet.

So I will send fire against Judah, and it will devour the fortresses of Jerusalem.

Fallen, no more to rise is maiden Israel; forsaken on her land, with no one to raise her up.

For a fire has been inflamed by My anger, and it will burn to the lowest part of Sheol, and shall consume the earth and its produce, and ignite the foundations of the mountains.

Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.
