Concerning the Ammonites: Thus says the Lord: Does Israel have no sons? Or has he no heirs? Why then does their king inherit Gad and his people dwell in his cities?

The younger also gave birth to a son and called his name Ben-Ammi. He is the father of the Ammonites to this day.

from the Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, the Reubenites, the Manassites from Aroer, which is by the River Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

The Lord sent against him bands of Chaldeans, bands of Arameans, bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord that He spoke by His servants the prophets.

After that, the Moabites and the Ammonites, together with some Meunites, came against Jehoshaphat for battle.

Then the Ammonites and Moabites stood up against those dwelling from Mount Seir to destroy and finish them. Then when they made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, each man attacked his companion to destroy each other.

But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite subordinate, and Geshem the Arabian heard it, they laughed at us in mockery, and despised us, and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?”

When Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabians, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard how the restoration of Jerusalem’s walls was progressing and how the breaches had begun to be sealed, it made them extremely furious.

Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

O enemy, destructions are finished forever! You have destroyed cities; even the memory of them has perished.

Thus says the Lord: Against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit, behold, I will pluck them out of their land and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

Edom, and Moab, and the Ammonites;

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says the Lord, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations; I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations.

and send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

Concerning Moab: Thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel: Woe to Nebo, for it is devastated. Kiriathaim is humiliated and captured; Misgab is humiliated and dismayed.

Concerning Damascus: Hamath and Arpad have been humiliated, for they have heard bad news. They are faint-hearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quieted.

Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated: Thus says the Lord: Arise, go up to Kedar, and destroy the men of the East.

Concerning Edom. Thus says the Lord of Hosts: Is there no more wisdom in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

You, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come in the time of the punishment of the end,

The word of the Lord came again to me, saying:

and those who bow down on the roofs to the host of heaven; those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord and yet swear by Milcom;

Of the sons of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war,

When you come close to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the Ammonites as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.”

No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to their tenth generation they may not enter the assembly of the Lord forever,

because they refused you bread and water on the way, when you came from out of Egypt and because they hired Balaam, the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, against you to curse you.
