Jeremiah 48:30

I know his wrath, says the Lord, but it is futile. His lies have accomplished nothing.

A sword is against the oracle priests, and they will become fools. A sword is against her mighty men, and they shall be dismayed.

We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud, even of his haughtiness and his pride and his wrath; but his lies shall not be so.

No wisdom or understanding or counsel can stand against the Lord.

The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the people of no effect.

For exaltation comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
