Therefore you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel: Drink and be drunk and spew and fall and rise no more because of the sword which I will send among you.

How long shall I see the standard and hear the sound of the trumpet?

Cursed be he who does the work of the Lord negligently, and cursed be he who keeps back his sword from blood.

A sword is against the Chaldeans, says the Lord, and against the inhabitants of Babylon, and against her officials, and against her wise men.

Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, “Let the sword go through the land and cut off man and beast from it,”

Return it to its sheath. I will judge you in the place where you were created, in the land of your birth.

“Awake, O sword, against My shepherd and the man of My association,” says the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter. I will turn My hand against the small ones.

Then Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

The three combat units blew the horns and broke the jars. They held the torches in their left hands and the horns for blowing in their right hands. They called out, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”
