Then the officials said to Baruch, “Go hide, you and Jeremiah, and let no man know where you are.”

So Amaziah said to Amos, “O seer, go, flee back to the land of Judah. Earn your sustenance there, and prophesy there.

On the same day certain Pharisees came, saying to Him, “Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You.”

They agreed with him. When they had called in the apostles, they beat them, and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and released them.
