But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those I will let remain still in their own land, says the Lord, and they shall till it and dwell in it.
I spoke also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying: Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live.
For it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord of Hosts, that I shall break his yoke from off their neck and tear away their bonds, and strangers shall no longer make them their slaves.
In Tahpanhes also the day shall be darkened, when I break there the yokes of Egypt. And the pomp of her strength shall cease in her; as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
